DIGITAL MEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM
The local Raider Foundation granted me $1,200 to purchase a MacBook Air. This MacBook was both teacher and student centered. SPHERO SPRK: LEARNING TO CODE THROUGH PLAY
This grant of $417 went to purchasing 3 Spheros for my classroom. The goal was to extend what they have already learned during the Hour of Code in a more tactile manner. I used the Spheros to teach basic things such as velocity, rate, angles, and friction. Students have been using the Spheros in my STEM class this year and our collection is growing thanks to this grant.
Funded December 2015 |
LEARNING ENERGY & DESIGN THINKING THROUGH K'NEX
